Software Architect/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of the mobile application (frontend + backend)
• Develop and maintain the mobile app using Flutter
• Design and build scalable backend services using Java
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Define system integrations including APIs, payment gateways, booking engines, and CRM systems
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of the platform
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance

Requirements

• Proven experience building and launching mobile applications using Flutter
• Strong backend development experience with Java (e.g., Spring Boot)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway)
• Experience in system architecture and scalable application design
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
• Experience with third-party integrations such as payments and booking systems
• Ability to work both strategically as an architect and hands-on as an engineer
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building booking, hospitality, or marketplace platforms
• Familiarity with real-time systems like availability and reservations
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working on high-traffic consumer applications
