About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall software architecture for a next-generation Physical AI platform
- Design scalable, modular systems for on-premise and cloud deployments
- Evaluate and integrate technologies including OpenUSD, NVIDIA Omniverse, Modulus, and PhysicsNeMo
- Translate product and research requirements into technical designs and roadmaps
- Lead architecture reviews and establish coding standards
- Architect deployment strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and strategic guidance
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 12+ years of software development and system architecture experience
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
- Experience with frontend development using React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Proven experience architecting systems for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of OpenUSD, NVIDIA Omniverse, or similar simulation platforms is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in 3D data processing or digital twin technologies
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines
