Software Architect

About the Company

Rapsodo is a sports technology company that designs computer vision and machine learning products to help athletes maximize their performance. Our Turkey office operates as the R&D arm of Rapsodo, incorporating UI/UX, Mobile, Cloud Technologies, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Unity teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the design and development of software architecture for new and existing products
• Produce and maintain standard design artifacts including class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and API contracts
• Define technical requirements and provide guidance on architectural patterns
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development processes
• Allocate significant time to hands-on design review, code review, and active coding
• Contribute directly to codebases through writing, refactoring, and optimizing code

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role
• Strong proficiency in software design principles and architectural patterns
• Expertise in Go (Golang) and object-oriented programming (C#, Java, or Kotlin)
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and microservices architecture
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
