About the role
Responsibilities
- Design technical architecture and components for software product development
- Define and oversee software development standards and system architecture adherence
- Provide technical leadership during functional design, system requirements, and coding
- Develop and maintain core components within the software architecture
- Recommend and set technology strategy for the product
- Research and implement best practices and capability models for SaaS performance
- Perform design reviews, code reviews, and resolve technical problems
- Collaborate with business analysts and product leadership on functionality
- Work with software development leads, DBAs, and Network teams on implementation
- Mentor developers and senior developers to build technical skill sets
Requirements
- Experience with browser-based MVC and stateless API layers
- Proficiency with AngularJS and Twitter Bootstrap
- Experience with Spring Boot and MySQL
- Knowledge of engineering tools including git, maven, and grunt
- Experience with CICD paradigms and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Tomcat
