Software Architect, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document the architecture for frontend applications to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Establish and enforce frontend development best practices, frameworks, and design patterns across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Partner with backend engineers to design robust APIs and effective data integration strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to frontend developers through code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize frontend performance across various browsers and devices, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and select emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the evolving needs of the platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience, including significant experience in architectural or lead roles.
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proven track record of architecting and building large-scale, high-performance web applications.
• Strong understanding of web performance, security, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and responsive design.
• Proficiency with build tools like Webpack and Babel, as well as testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and micro frontend architectures.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile web or hybrid app development.
• Knowledge of internationalization and localization in web applications.
• Contributions to open-source frontend projects or active involvement in technology communities.
• Experience working within Agile and cross-functional team environments.
