Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions for cloud-native applications focusing on scalability, availability, and security
• Design and oversee microservices architectures with clean service boundaries and high maintainability
• Define and guide the adoption of message queueing and streaming platforms like Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Architect and optimize distributed data storage solutions using Citus, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architecture blueprints and technical standards
• Perform architecture reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure code quality and security
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks aligned with long-term goals
• Work with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure efficient CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• Advocate for domain-driven design (DDD), API-first design, and event-driven patterns

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years in a Software Architect or similar leadership role
• Proven experience designing cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of microservices patterns, REST/gRPC APIs, and asynchronous communication
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis Streams, RabbitMQ, or Amazon Kinesis
• Expertise in distributed databases such as Citus, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with event sourcing, CQRS, or real-time data processing
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL workflows, and big data platforms
• .NET experience
• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architectures and compliance (GDPR, SOC2)
• Experience with technical mentoring and engineering process improvements
