Software Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from initial architecture definition to delivery and maintenance.
• Develop high-performance backend applications using Java and modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.
• Design and deploy scalable distributed systems utilizing AWS cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices.
• Analyze manufacturing data to develop sophisticated analytics solutions and data manipulation pipelines.
• Develop and maintain professional-grade mobile applications to extend manufacturing capabilities to the factory floor.
• Integrate advanced machine learning and AI solutions into manufacturing workflows for predictive maintenance and automated quality control.
• Document complex technical solutions using flowcharts, diagrams, and well-commented code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java or .Net and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub), and integrating AI/ML models.
• Advanced experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Prior experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in administration, implementation, or support roles.
