About the role
Responsibilities
- Protect vulnerable individuals, including adults and children, from harm, abuse, and neglect
- Identify signs and symptoms of physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse
- Complete assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
- Undertake Section 42 (S42) Safeguarding Enquiries
- Collaborate with other organizations and professionals to prevent risks of abuse
- Assist individuals and families in meeting life challenges and empowering them
- Maintain accurate and detailed manual and electronic records
- Balance individual safety with the right to make informed choices
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driver's license
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
