Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, transitional aged youth, and their families living with an eating disorder
• Deliver model adherent treatment including Family Based Treatment, CBT-E, and CBT-AR
• Co-lead family education and parent groups
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports

Requirements

• Current registration and membership in good standing with a designated college (RN, OT, MSW)
• Considerable experience in family assessment and treatment within a multi-function mental health psychiatric setting
• Thorough knowledge of eating disorders and best practices in treatment
• Experience working with mental health diagnoses such as Depression, Anxiety, BPD, OCD, or ADHD
• Experience in facilitating groups
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge, understanding, and training in EFFT and DBT
• Knowledge of community and professional resources in eating disorders
