Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and criminal justice advocacy to victims of human trafficking and other crimes
• Assess the urgency of victim needs and seek immediate assistance for safety issues
• Maintain contact with victims throughout criminal cases and link them to community services
• Provide case management and conduct outreach and training related to human trafficking
• Conduct on-scene/field interviews and needs assessments after hours as necessary
• Maintain cultural sensitivity, discretion, and integrity during confidential investigations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited school
• Valid Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• At least 3+ years of work experience in Social Work
• Ability to work with children
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency
• Experience working with survivors of human trafficking or sexual assault
• Experience coordinating services for victims of human trafficking
• Experience developing training curricula and presenting lectures on trauma and social work
• Knowledge of counseling interventions for trauma victims
