Social Work Masters Level Final Field Internship

Responsibilities

• Provide individual clinical services and appropriate assessments for Boys Ranch residents using a strength-based approach
• Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical interventions in accordance with therapeutic practices and CFBR policy
• Facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic and psycho-educational groups
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings for assigned clients
• Support Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Adventure Programs, and other experiential learning activities
• Engage in all aspects of care provided within a General Residential Operation under the supervision of an LCSW or LMSW

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program from an accredited university in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email, and presentations)
• Ability to operate general office equipment
• Exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, grasping, and prolonged sitting or standing
