Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and publish social media content aligned with company priorities using AP style
• Translate complex aerospace and technical concepts into engaging content for external audiences
• Capture and produce photo and video content, including short-form clips and behind-the-scenes material
• Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro and create graphics using Adobe Photoshop
• Manage the social media content calendar and maintain a consistent posting cadence
• Track and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics and performance metrics
• Organize and maintain digital media libraries to ensure assets are properly archived
• Provide on-site support for events, tours, and media engagements through content capture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Aerospace, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in social media, communications, or content creation
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong writing skills with AP style proficiency and technical writing ability
• Demonstrated experience in photography, videography, and end-to-end video production
• Familiarity with aerospace and aviation terminology
• Ability to work on-site in Mojave, CA, and work in aircraft operational environments
