Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ideate, create, and edit engaging, platform-native social content, with a heavy focus on short-form video
• Develop a clear point of view on "scroll-stopping" content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest
• Provide actionable creative direction to creators, designers, editors, influencers, and agency partners
• Monitor social media trends and use tools like Sprout Social to manage and report on performance
• Interpret performance data to identify patterns and translate learnings into improved creative strategies
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role
• Deep understanding of platform best practices, content formats, and audience behavior for major social networks
• Proven experience in short-form video creation and editing
• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
• Experience with social media management and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CapCut or Adobe Premiere for video editing
• Proficiency with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
• A genuine interest in the health and wellness industry
