Social Media & Marketing Communications Intern

Responsibilities

• Support Linde’s executive social media presence, specifically focusing on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
• Draft, edit, and refine posts, articles, and thought leadership content aligned with company messaging
• Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing communications that align executive messaging with brand campaigns
• Partner with Communications teams to ensure consistency across social media, internal communications, and external campaigns
• Research industry trends, leadership topics, and competitive positioning to inform content strategy
• Help manage a content calendar that integrates executive communications with marketing initiatives
• Monitor engagement and performance metrics to provide insights for optimizing social media efforts

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and executive social media best practices
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Ability to work on-site at our Danbury, CT HQ for 15-25 hours per week for 8 weeks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience drafting professional or thought leadership content
• Understanding of analytics tools and performance tracking
• Basic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
• Ability to handle sensitive or high-visibility content with discretion
