About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the TikTok channel strategy to drive growth among Gen-Z and Millennial audiences and increase TikTok Shop revenue
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish platform-native content for the brand, acting as both creator and director
- Manage the TikTok Shop presence in collaboration with the E-Commerce team to drive conversions and repeat purchases
- Work directly with company founders to develop and produce their personal content for TikTok and Instagram
- Translate founder personalities into engaging, repeatable, and platform-native content formats
- Track and report on key performance indicators including engagement, follower growth, and TikTok Shop GMV
- Partner with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure TikTok content aligns with broader brand strategy
Requirements
- 4+ years of social media or content creation experience, with a heavy focus on TikTok
- Proven track record of growing TikTok accounts and driving measurable business outcomes (e.g., TikTok Shop revenue)
- Hands-on mobile shooting and editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, or equivalent)
- Deep, native understanding of TikTok trends, algorithms, and creator culture
- Experience creating content for or alongside public figures, founders, or talent
- Must provide a portfolio of personally created TikTok content demonstrating strategy and results
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA, NYC, or San Francisco/Bay Area, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CPG, beauty, food, lifestyle, or wellness brands
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt voice across different brand personas
