Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all content for the brand and build an engaging community on social media
• Manage content across social, e-commerce, and website platforms
• Curate copy for social media handles and develop copy to support visual content
• Shoot content using a phone and act as a camera-friendly brand representative
• Grow social media and YouTube follower bases through content creation and influencer engagement
• Repurpose existing content for various digital uses
• Work with Creative Directors and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellence and brand voice consistency
• Monitor trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
• Plan and maintain content and cultural calendars
• Participate in creative brainstorms and present concepts to clients

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience writing for digital platforms
• Experience in the beauty or personal care industry
• Proven track record of executing digital campaigns
• Strong understanding of social media channels, trends, and user behavior
• Ability to create content with SEO in mind
• Proficiency in analytics to inform creative decisions
• Flawless written English including punctuation and spelling
• Ability to think conceptually and work within a 360-degree digital landscape
• Proactive approach to follow-ups and project management

Preferred Qualifications

• Editorial or agency background
• Creative skills such as Photoshop
• Knowledge of AI tools and interest in new technologies
• Experience working within a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter)
