Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of social media initiatives and act as a strategic advisor for clients.
• Serve as social media counsel to account staff and clients in collaboration with the social team lead.
• Manage workload across multiple projects for self and junior staff, taking the lead on complex initiatives.
• Conduct social listening and influencer research to derive insights and present findings to internal teams and clients.
• Educate peers and clients on social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert and project owner for social media to help clients achieve marketing objectives.
• Cross-collaborate with other subject matter experts within the broader digital ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-7 years of related agency or business experience.
• High familiarity with social media, third-party management tools, and social listening platforms.
• Proven ability to locate and manage influencers and derive actionable insights from data.
• Strong understanding of how paid social integrates with an owned social strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain social media tactics in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong project management skills and experience with social media performance analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Experience coordinating influencer programs.
