Social Media Intern

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit short and long-form video content on mobile devices for all social media channels
• Write engaging captions and copy for social media posts that resonate with the target audience
• Edit videos using native mobile editing applications
• Stay up-to-date with local happenings in Ras Al Khaimah, social media trends, and platform features
• Assist with various social media tasks and projects as required

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Filming, Communications, Digital Media)
• Proficiency in mobile video filming and editing using mobile apps
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Deep understanding of popular platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok
• Ability to attend events during out-of-office hours
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and metrics is a plus
