Social Media Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage all content for the brand and build an engaging community on social media
• Manage content across e-commerce, website, SEO, and email newsletters
• Grow social media and YouTube follower bases through content creation and influencer engagement
• Write short and long-form articles and repurpose existing content
• Work with clients to create concepts from briefing through to execution
• Set tone and drive creativity in collaboration with Creative Directors and Data Strategists
• Maintain awareness of trending topics to identify content opportunities
• Post and schedule content while maintaining cultural calendars
• Participate in creative brainstorms and develop copy to support visual content

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience writing for digital with SEO awareness
• Proven track record of executing digital campaigns
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of social media channels, trends, and user behavior
• Ability to use data and insights to inform creative decisions
• Flawless written English including punctuation and spelling
• Experience in the beauty or personal care space
• Ability to think conceptually and work within a cohesive 360-degree strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in a digital-first brand, editorial, or agency environment
• Experience working within a traditional creative team (designers and copywriters)
• Knowledge of and passion for AI tools and new technologies
