Social Media Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X/Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Monitor daily social media trends, viral topics, memes, and internet conversations
• Create fast, relevant, and engaging content around trending topics while maintaining brand image
• Write witty, humorous, and relatable captions that resonate with online audiences
• Develop creative social media campaigns and plan content calendars
• Engage with online communities, comments, and audience interactions
• Work closely with design and video teams to produce content quickly
• Analyse social media performance and optimise content strategy based on engagement and reach

Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and internet culture
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Strong sense of humour, creativity, and storytelling skills
• Fast thinker with strong awareness of current trends and viral content
• Ability to create content that feels organic, relatable, and engaging
• Familiarity with meme culture and online communities
• Ability to react quickly to trending topics
• Experience managing brand social media accounts is an advantage
• Basic design, video editing, or content creation skills are a plus
