Social Media & Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Own Flexport's social channels day-to-day across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
• Plan content calendars, write posts, publish, engage with followers, and report on performance
• Write and edit blog content that translates complex supply chain topics into engaging stories and thought leadership
• Produce the company newsletter end-to-end, from story selection to copywriting and distribution
• Design social graphics and light marketing assets using Canva while maintaining brand integrity
• Edit short-form video content, including cutting clips and adding captions for various social platforms
• Build and manage an influencer network by coaching internal executives and cultivating external industry voices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, or a closely related role
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to make dense topics clear and engaging
• Hands-on experience managing professional accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
• Proficiency in social media best practices and platform-specific nuances
• Basic design skills with experience using Canva to create on-brand graphics
• Basic video editing skills for producing short-form social clips

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building creator or influencer programs
• Background working in B2B, logistics, or the technology sector
