Social Media & Content Intern

Responsibilities

• Write engaging captions, carousel copy, and short-form scripts for Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Own the monthly social media calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments and DMs across all platforms
• Identify and leverage cultural trends that resonate specifically with the NRI diaspora
• Track weekly performance metrics and provide actionable insights on content effectiveness

Requirements

• Currently completing or recently finished a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Exceptional copywriting skills with a clean, witty, and brief writing style
• Deep understanding of NRI culture, personal finance, or the experience of Indian diaspora living abroad
• High proficiency with Instagram and YouTube trends and formats
• Ability to analyze performance dashboards and form data-driven points of view

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Canva or CapCut for content creation
• Basic video editing skills for short-form social content
