About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated content arm for the Founder/CEO, building and maintaining their personal social media presence.
  • Develop editorial calendars, script short-form videos, and craft authentic captions across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
  • Act as a one-person production studio, handling end-to-end content capture, including filming and photography at events and lab visits.
  • Execute full-cycle post-production, including video editing and graphic design.
  • Monitor performance metrics and platform trends to optimize content strategy and engagement.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time to accompany the Founder/CEO to speaking engagements and media events.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Communications, and Science teams to align executive content with company milestones.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of professional experience in social media content creation or digital marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience in executive brand management or managing social media for C-suite executives/public figures.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro and/or CapCut.
  • Strong filming skills using both DSLR cameras and smartphones.
  • Graphic design experience using Canva or AI-powered design tools.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone for executive-level communications.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% for domestic and international assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the health, science, biotech, or technology sectors.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
  • Existing understanding of genetics, genomics, or personalized medicine.
