Social Impact and Philanthropy Advisor

Responsibilities

• Lead Social Impact and Philanthropy initiatives in Brazil, including the UBS Optimus Brasil non-profit association.
• Advise clients from Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking, and Asset Management on philanthropy strategy.
• Cultivate a business pipeline through client events, thought leadership, and banker education to increase donations.
• Partner with Program Directors to source prospective new grantees and support them through the grant management process.
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships by leveraging deep knowledge of the Brazilian philanthropic landscape.
• Enhance UBS’s profile as a leading provider of philanthropy advisory and execution services in the region.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of philanthropy and the Brazilian philanthropic landscape.
• Extensive experience working with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and institutional clients.
• Proven track record in business development, including strategy, planning, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with foundation grant-making processes.
• Experience in a senior leadership role within the philanthropy sector or a related field.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
• Strong presentation, communication, and social skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is considered an additional asset.
• Experience serving on or working with a Board of Directors.
• Curiosity and proficiency in exploring how AI can optimize professional workflows.
