Social/Digital Producer, Screen Science

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the ABC Science YouTube channel and digital presence
• Create, adapt, and edit engaging science content specifically for social platforms
• Develop episode-specific digital content to coincide with broadcast schedules
• Craft scroll-stopping headlines, social media copy, banners, graphics, and thumbnails
• Optimize digital assets and back catalogue content for maximum engagement
• Analyze performance metrics to meet clear audience growth benchmarks
• Manage accurate diaries, schedules, and information management systems

Requirements

• Proven experience in YouTube channel management and content optimization
• Strong digital content production and video editing skills
• Experience analyzing performance metrics to drive audience engagement
• Proficiency in social media copywriting and digital asset creation
• Experience using information management systems and digital tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond proactively to unexpected situations
