About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as sole and/or lead auditor on selected social compliance schemes
- Ensure effective delivery of audits in line with CSR, Global Procedures, and client SOPs
- Meet agreed turnaround times for reporting and other deliverables
- Lead and organize audit teams before, during, and after audits
- Mentor auditors and provide on-the-job training
- Perform technical reviews of reports from other auditors
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, NGOs, and industry bodies
- Identify quality, integrity, and efficiency improvement areas
Requirements
- Registered CSCA (Certified Compliance Auditor) with valid APSCA membership in good standing
- Minimum of two years social compliance audit experience
- Extensive knowledge of labour laws, ETI Base code, and occupational health and safety standards
- Specific audit experience in SMETA 7, SIZA, BSCI, WRAP, SCAN, or TFS programmes
- Advanced level of English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Valid passport and ability to travel locally and internationally
- Police clearance certificate
