About the role
Responsibilities
- Think and design ideas for social campaigns and content
- Create pieces for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and other digital territories
- Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and community managers
- Adapt concepts to social formats including reels, stories, carousels, GIFs, motion, and thumbnails
- Maintain brand art direction across social platforms
- Stay up to date with digital culture, trends, memes, and visual references
- Present and defend visual ideas internally and to clients
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience as an art director, creative designer, or junior art director
- Portfolio focused on social and digital creativity
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and/or After Effects)
- Strong eye for composition, typography, color, and detail
- Understanding of platform-specific content mechanics
- Social-first mindset and ability to distinguish authentic trends from forced brand content
Preferred Qualifications
- Video editing or motion graphics skills
- Comfort with TikTok and pop culture
- Extensive library of visual references
- Ability to identify meme-worthy opportunities
