SoC Verification Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 7-8 SoC and subsystem verification engineers on high-impact customer engagements.
• Work directly with customers to scope verification activities, define deliverables, and translate technical challenges into actionable plans.
• Mentor engineers on verification methodology, debug strategies, coverage closure, and customer communication.
• Review testbench code, verification plans, coverage reports, and waveform analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Assess project complexity and resource needs to propose staffing and timeline plans.
• Drive adoption of Synopsys verification tools including VCS, Verdi, and Synopsys VIP within customer projects.
• Report project status to senior management and collaborate with sales and business unit teams to flag risks and resolve execution issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in SoC verification.
• Deep technical expertise in pre-silicon verification, including UVM testbench development and coverage analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and DDR.
• Proven experience with VCS, Verdi, or similar waveform analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead verification teams through complex SoC, subsystem, or IP verification projects from planning to delivery.
• Experience managing verification scope, timelines, and resources for customer-facing projects.
