SoC Verification Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi-team SoC verification organization delivering customer-facing services across automotive, aerospace, defense, and high-performance computing sectors
• Define and drive SSG verification strategy, including methodology standards, signoff criteria, VIP and tool deployment, and reusable testbench patterns
• Own organizational planning including headcount, hiring, succession, performance management, and skill development
• Partner with sales and account teams to scope opportunities, assess technical and resource risk, and align delivery with business objectives
• Serve as an executive-level technical authority on complex SoC verification challenges and escalations
• Establish clear accountability across verification managers and technical leads to drive adoption of Synopsys VCS, Verdi, and VIP
• Build and maintain executive customer relationships to position Synopsys as the preferred verification partner

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of hands-on SoC, subsystem, or IP verification experience, including significant leadership scope
• Expert-level knowledge of UVM-based verification, coverage-driven closure, and verification planning
• Proven experience leading large verification organizations or multi-project teams in a services or product development environment
• Deep working knowledge of protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, and AMBA interconnects
• Hands-on proficiency with Synopsys VCS, Verdi, and VIP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ARM-based SoC architectures
• Knowledge of automotive functional safety verification
• Experience with emulation flows
