About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily SOC operations including 24x7 monitoring and shift management
- Oversee incident handling, escalation, investigation, and response coordination
- Act as the primary escalation point for high-severity security incidents
- Lead, mentor, and develop SOC analysts through coaching and performance reviews
- Drive continuous improvement of monitoring, detection capabilities, and use cases
- Prepare operational reports and ensure compliance with NCSC licensing and regulatory obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience
- Minimum 3 years of SOC operations experience
- Previous experience leading security operations teams
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms, threat detection, and incident response
- Experience within MSSP environments is highly preferred
