SOC Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead daily SOC operations, ensuring continuous 24x7 monitoring coverage and effective shift management.
• Oversee incident handling, escalation, and investigation activities to ensure adherence to customer SLAs.
• Act as the primary escalation point for high-severity security incidents and coordinate response efforts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop SOC analysts through performance reviews, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
• Drive continuous improvement of monitoring and detection capabilities, including use cases and correlation rules.
• Prepare operational reports, participate in customer security governance discussions, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 3 years of dedicated SOC operations experience.
• Proven experience leading security operations teams.
• Strong expertise with SIEM platforms, threat detection, and incident response management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environments.
