SOC Investigator, Security & Loss Prevention

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations including medical, fire, weather, and security incidents
• Monitor video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and electronic access control systems
• Conduct investigations into inventory loss, employee dishonesty, and workplace violence
• Perform regular facility inspections to detect vulnerabilities and security breaches
• Audit processes involving inventory control, physical security, and operational SOPs
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation for all investigations and incidents

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in loss prevention, auditing, security, law enforcement, or military
• Proficiency with security technologies like CCTV and access control systems
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical interventions if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice or a related field
• Experience in warehouse, supply chain, or distribution environments
• Loss Prevention Foundation certifications (LPQ, LPC)
• Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid interview course completion
• ASIS certifications (APP, PSP, PCI, CPP)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
