SOC Flex

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to emergency alarm signals via radio, telephone, and audio/video review
• Verify alarms and notify police, fire, emergency services, or key personnel
• Troubleshoot security system failures and generate work orders
• Provide support for arming and disarming security systems
• Answer multiple telephone lines and respond to callers professionally
• Maintain building security and Security Operations Center operations following company policies
• Complete required equipment checks and daily logs

Requirements

• High school graduate (some college preferred)
• Previous customer service or alarm monitoring/dispatch experience
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM
• Strong spelling, grammar, and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and alarm applications
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work overtime and report to the Monitoring Center for emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Security Level 2 License
• Knowledge of personal security, customer relations, and industrial security
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
