About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, propose, and deliver new SoC memory architectures and features for premium mobile and high-performance computing platforms
  • Create detailed designs and specifications for memory subsystems, including memory interfaces, controllers, and caches
  • Analyze PPA (Power, Performance, Area) trade-offs to optimize memory subsystem performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration of memory designs
  • Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, implementation, and verification plans
  • Stay current with emerging memory technologies to recommend adoption in future SoC designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 6+ years of experience, Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years
  • Proven experience designing and developing complex digital systems and SoC memory architectures
  • Strong understanding of memory hierarchies, interfaces (DDR, LPDDR, HBM), and memory controllers
  • Detailed knowledge of cache subsystems, including caching policies and latency/bandwidth trade-offs
  • Familiarity with JEDEC memory standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cache coherence protocols and bus protocols such as CHI, ACE, or AXI
  • Experience with the Arm architecture and ecosystem
  • Experience with the Android ecosystem and related analysis tools
