SOC Analyst L2

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 24x7 security operation team
• Monitor SIEM systems and follow up on security incidents and events
• Respond to security incidents and report on handling and resolution
• Participate in forensic analysis, data recovery, and penetration testing
• Perform daily security analysis, scanning, and assessment for risks and vulnerabilities
• Conduct proactive research to identify new threats and exploits
• Configure and administer security systems and tools
• Provide security recommendations to improve security posture
• Review and document computer security vulnerabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in IT/Security operations or a SOC role
• Knowledge of network switches, routers, and firewalls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and Access
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
• Strong time management and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Network+, CCNA R&S, Security+, Linux security, or Windows security training
• Professional Security certifications such as CIHE, CEH, or CPTE
