Snowflake Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and modern ETL frameworks
• Develop and optimize SQL-based transformations and data models for enterprise reporting and analytics
• Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to create authoritative data sources
• Support and enhance data integration processes and modernize legacy workflows
• Collaborate with BI teams to enable reporting using platforms like Power BI or Sigma
• Participate in Agile delivery practices using Jira and ServiceNow
• Apply AI-powered coding tools and automation to streamline development workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Expertise in Azure, SQL, and ETL development
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade data pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and ServiceNow
• Experience supporting analytics platforms such as Power BI or Sigma
• Required experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GPT-based assistants, Cursor, Kizer)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare or regulated industry data
• Awareness of data quality, governance, and sensitivity considerations
