Snowflake Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and modern ETL frameworks
• Develop and optimize SQL-based transformations and data models to support enterprise reporting and analytics
• Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to create authoritative data sources for self-service analytics
• Support and enhance data integration processes, including the modernization of legacy ingestion workflows
• Collaborate with BI teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility in platforms like Power BI or Sigma
• Participate in Agile delivery practices using tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
• Actively apply AI-powered coding tools and automation techniques to streamline development workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical discipline
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Required expertise in Azure, SQL, and ETL development
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade data pipelines
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GPT-based assistants, Cursor, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare or regulated industry data
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and sensitivity considerations
• Experience supporting reporting platforms such as Power BI or Sigma
