2,000 documented teaching hours, Level 2 AASI Certification, Age 18+, Physical ability to snowboard in varied terrain
About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of lessons, including group and private lessons, to guests of all ages and abilities
- Utilize a variety of snowboarding and teaching techniques to adapt lessons to the changing needs to the learner
- Provide exceptional guest service while always managing physical and emotional risk
- Work together with teams of instructors to organize and group guests according to individual goals and abilities
- Utilize Pro Card internal scheduling platform to maintain an accurate work schedule
- Demonstrate expertise and professionalism while sharing a passion for mountain recreation
Requirements
- Minimum 2,000 documented teaching/coaching hours over the past 10 years
- Current Level 2 AASI Certification or foreign equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to snowboard for multiple hours daily on varied terrain and weather conditions
- Ability to assess dynamic slope conditions and make safety-oriented decisions
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Children’s Specialist certification
- Ability to ski to a level 7
