Snack Bar Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control, and security for the snack bar
• Lead, assist, and direct student employees to ensure efficient and courteous service
• Maintain food quality, proper portioning, and consistent safety and sanitation procedures
• Operate light powered equipment as needed

Requirements

• Possession of a food handler's permit (or ability to obtain one within 14 days of employment)
• Two years of experience in food service work
• One year of experience in a lead role
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to five years of retail experience
• Experience leading and training employees
• Knowledge of cash handling and bank card procedures
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices, policies, and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and work collaboratively
• Experience in planning, prioritizing, and assigning tasks
• Strong oral and written communication skills
