SMTS Equipment Engineer - Cleaning

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment planning, installation, and integration of wet cleaning tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define chemical and exhaust infrastructure
• Guide tool evaluation, procurement, and vendor collaboration for cleaning equipment
• Oversee installation, start-up, and qualification of cleaning tools
• Build documentation, training procedures, and maintenance programs
• Support yield improvement and uptime through equipment optimization

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with wet cleaning equipment in semiconductor manufacturing
• Proven experience with tool installation, initial fab startups, or cleanroom expansions
• Deep technical knowledge of wet clean processes, including chemical formulation and particle removal
• Familiarity with infrastructure requirements such as chemical delivery and ventilation systems
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
