SMT Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT Machines production equipment to achieve quality, efficiency, and productivity goals
• Monitor equipment operation to ensure assemblies are built to print and comply with workmanship standards
• Inspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracy
• Identify and understand defects
• Load feeders for equipment as needed
• Follow and meet expectations of the SMT Machine Schedule
• Complete appropriate Manufacturing and Quality documentation
• Maintain supply inventories and alert supervisors for replenishment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist in resolving quality issues

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating Mycronic SMT Machines
• Aptitude for precise assembly work from written and verbal instructions
• Excellent physical dexterity and motor skills
• Ability to meet specific vision requirements including close vision and color distinction
• Good English reading comprehension and basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to perform assembly work within Standard Assembly Times
