SMT Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform overall production operations and line management of the PCBA manufacturing process
• Lead the establishment of quality standards, defect analysis, and improvement activities within the SMT process
• Handle technical communication and responses with major clients, including headquarters and external partners
• Oversee daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of SMT equipment
• Manage material supply plans and inventory required for the SMT process
• Collect data and prepare reports for new line construction and process optimization

Requirements

• Practical work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate and handle automated equipment, such as SMT lines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for basic documentation
• Smooth business communication skills in English (emails, meetings, and report writing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to speak Spanish to improve local communication and work efficiency
• Experience in manufacturing automotive electronics products
• Experience in electronics assembly processes, such as SMT or PCB companies
• Knowledge of electronic assembly quality standards like IPC-A-610 or J-STD
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma or quality improvement projects
