SMF Analyst, Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive Alpha E2E and middle office activities for Security Master (SMF) and Data Management tasks
• Lead the delivery of data mapping specifications to transition security master flows from legacy systems to in-house systems
• Drive the reference data management lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and maintenance
• Act as the end-to-end data management subject matter expert (SME) to support client discussions and issue management
• Support conversion events, including dry runs, dress rehearsals, and go-live activities, which may require occasional weekend or off-hours work
• Serve as the primary client-facing contact for conversion-related activities and internal business units
• Provide solutioning and decision support in partnership with clients and internal conversion teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant financial industry experience
• High-level knowledge of Capital Markets, including Middle Office, Securities Master, Bank Loans, and IBOR/ABOR
• Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with JIRA or other project management software
• Proven ability to manage multiple processes in a high-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Experience owning initiatives or projects related to Middle Office Client Onboarding
