About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and delivery of training solutions for military platform technicians, maintainers, or operators.
- Collaborate with training development professionals to design and deliver training courses, Computer-Based Training (CBT) products, and virtual/augmented reality simulators.
- Utilize authoring tools to create Interactive Courseware (ICW) or Instructor Led Training (ILT) materials.
- Perform peer reviews and quality control inspections to ensure training solutions are technically accurate and meet project standards.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior team members and other SMEs.
- Advise senior management on business development opportunities and assist in demonstrating products at trade shows.
- Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) restrictions and manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 15 years of directly related experience in the maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems for the assigned project.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and networked computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and pass background checks for military base access.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program.
- Familiarity with the V-22 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) or V-22 Aircrew qualification.
- CDI/CDQAR qualifications.
- Four years of experience in training or curriculum development.
