SME - Tech/Operator III (CH-47F)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and delivery of training solutions for CH-47F technicians, maintainers, or operators.
• Collaborate with training development professionals to design and deliver training courses, Computer-Based Training (CBT) products, and virtual/augmented reality simulators.
• Utilize authoring tools to create Interactive Courseware (ICW) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) materials.
• Perform peer reviews and quality control inspections to ensure all training solutions are technically accurate and meet project standards.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior SMEs and team members.
• Attend training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and other required technical meetings.
• Advise senior management on business development opportunities within your area of expertise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 15 years of experience in the maintenance or operation of military aviation systems and subsystems.
• Extensive background in Army CH-47F aviation maintenance.
• 5 years of experience in courseware development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and networked computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program.
• Familiarity with the Unreal Gaming engine.
