SME - Tech/Operator II (CH-47F)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and delivery of training solutions for military platforms, systems, or weapons.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver desktop software, VR/AR simulators, and training devices.
• Provide technical guidance to production and manufacturing technicians during all development and implementation phases.
• Develop training curriculum, courseware, instructional products, testing documentation, and operator manuals.
• Support production by troubleshooting systems, determining component replacements, and ensuring hardware/software integration.
• Participate in training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and customer presentations.
• Travel up to 25% to support data capture, device testing, and delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems related to the area of expertise.
• Strong background in Army CH-47F aviation maintenance.
• 3 years of experience in courseware development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program.
• Familiarity with the Unreal Gaming engine.
