About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and delivery of training solutions for V-22 technicians, maintainers, or operators.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices.
- Provide technical guidance to production and manufacturing technicians during all phases of development and implementation.
- Assist in developing testing documentation, device user manuals, and operator manuals.
- Support production by troubleshooting systems, determining component replacements, and ensuring proper hardware and software integration.
- Develop training curriculum and instructional products for presentation to customers.
- Perform Contractor Preliminary Inspections (CPI) and Contractor Final Inspections (CFI) at customer sites.
- Travel as required to support data capture, device testing, and delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 years of V-22 maintenance or operation experience directly related to the assigned systems and subsystems.
- Ability to read, navigate, and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with military and government personnel.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program.
- Familiarity with the V-22 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM).
- V-22 Aircrew qualification.
- CDI/CDQAR qualifications.
- Experience with V-22 Avionics systems.
- Experience in training or curriculum development.
