SME-TECH/OPERATOR I (CH-47F)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development and delivery of training solutions for military platform technicians, maintainers, or operators.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze, design, and develop desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices.
• Provide technical guidance to production and manufacturing technicians during all phases of development and implementation.
• Develop training curriculum, courseware, and other instructional products for customer presentation.
• Support production by troubleshooting systems, determining component replacements, and assisting with hardware and software integration.
• Assist in developing testing documentation, device user manuals, and operator manuals.
• Perform inspections (CPI/CFI) and accompany training device deliveries to ensure proper handling and installation.
• Participate in training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and other required technical meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Four (4) years of experience in the maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems related to the assigned project.
• Proven background in Army CH-47F aviation maintenance.
• Experience with computer-based courseware development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% in support of data capture, testing, and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program.
• Familiarity with the Unreal gaming engine.
