About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise system designs at the component and sub-component level using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques
- Lead requirements analysis, capability design, and test and evaluation planning
- Manage, operate, and maintain Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and Data Center (DC) environments
- Oversee Release and Deployment Management processes for software releases
- Perform system administration and maintenance to ensure compliance with cybersecurity mandates
- Manage 8-15 direct reports, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate engineering processes and technical prioritization across multiple stakeholder groups
- Implement and maintain Patch Management, Asset Management, and Incident Response processes
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience
- DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security, or GCED)
- Minimum of 8 years of systems engineering experience
- Experience leading technical teams and managing engineering processes
- Experience in DoD or Federal enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps pipelines, and cybersecurity controls
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Agilist (SA) or related SAFe certification
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques
- Experience supporting systems across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture patterns
- Experience supporting enterprise data, AI/ML, or DevSecOps modernization initiatives
- INCOSE CSEP or equivalent systems engineering certification
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
