About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Europe Financial Lines Actuarial Pricing team on individual case pricing, portfolio analysis, and planning.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to evaluate product performance, profitability, loss ratios, and emerging trends.
  • Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics to analyze experience and address queries from business heads.
  • Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for underwriters and key stakeholders, clearly communicating methodologies and results.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to refine portfolio review processes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Statistics.
  • Pursuing actuarial exams and nearing qualification, or 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience (preferably in pricing).
  • Proficiency in analytical software including Python, R, SQL, or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Dataiku or Qliksense/Qlikview.
